Precision Aluminum Etching Spray

AluminEtch is a specialized surface preparation spray formulated to create a fine micro-etch profile on bare aluminum. Designed to enhance adhesion for paints, primers, and powder coatings, it gently etches the metal at a microscopic level—eliminating the need for aggressive sandblasting while maintaining the integrity of the substrate.

Ideal for use in finishing, fabrication, and coating applications, AluminEtch ensures a consistent surface profile, improves coating durability, and reduces the risk of adhesion failure—especially on smooth or polished aluminum surfaces.

Directions for use:

Shake well before use. Identify the area to be prepped. Cover any polished or painted surface to prevent contact with the solution. DO NOT use in direct sunlight or allow product to dry on surface. Dilute 1 part AluminEtch to 2-10 parts water. Apply in small sections with low pressure sprayer or spray bottle. Allow product to sit for up to 5 minutes. Rinse with clean water. Reapply as needed.
