IC-1 Floor Board and Firewall Coating

IC-1 is designed to reduce thermal transfer and is excellent for firewalls, floorpans/footwells and heat shields to reduce heat transfer. It is reflective to heat and provides an excellent thermal barrier.

Ready to spray – no thinning needed

Do not thin – Stir and shake well before us.
1. All parts must be clean and free of oil, grease, moisture, dust, scale or corrosion.
2. Clean all parts using acetone, M.E.K., or similar material. Do not use petroleum based solvents.
3. Apply coating by spraying or brushing. Apply one coat.
4. Allow to air dry for approximately two hrs. to touch, 24 hr. before use.

Clean Up: Clean equipment with water.

Danger: Contains solvent mixed with water. Keep from heat, sparks or open flame.

Health Hazard Information: Vapor is harmful. May cause eye irritation, burning sensation on skin. If inhaled, may cause headache, dizziness or nausea. Contains petroleum distillate, harmful or fatal if swallowed.

Danger: Do not breathe vapors or mists from spraying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use with adequate ventilation to maintain exposure levels below established exposure limits (see MSDS). If required wear an appropriate NIOSH approved respirator with paint pre-filter.
