Rust Inhibitor

Columbia Coatings Rust Inhibitor is a proprietary, non-foaming, water soluble rust inhibitor that can replace sodium nitrate for preventing flash rusting after phosphatizing. This rust inhibitor is effective on cast iron, steel, and other ferrous metals.

Columbia Coatings Rust Inhibitor can provide corrosion protection for up to 30 days on cast iron, steel, and other ferrous metals, depending on humidity and temperature.

Application Instructions (spray or dip):

• Mix Concentration: 0.25% – 1.5%
• Application Temperature: Ambient to 140ºF
• Application Time: 30 sec. to 1 min.

Product should be protected from extreme cold
